International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is an internationally recognized programme, administered by the International Baccalaureate (IB). IBDP is a two-year educational programme primarily designed for students aged 16-19 (especially for 11 and 12 grade). The programme provides an internationally accepted and recognized qualification that helps and prepares students for higher education from prominent international universities across the globe.
The IB Diploma Programme is a holistic programme that addresses the social, intellectual, physical, and emotional well-being of students. The IB Diploma Programme aims to create learning experiences that are a combination of rigorous academics, social interaction, creative work, and collaboration. The IB Diploma Programme provides advanced skill set and values to the students to overcome the challenges that occur in our dynamic world.
The IBDP curriculum offered by IIS is made up of three core elements and six subject groups.

The three core elements are:
- Theory of Knowledge, in which students reflect on the nature of knowledge and on how we know what we claim to know.
- The Extended Essay, which is an independent, self-directed piece of research, finishing with a written document.
- Creativity, Activity, Service, in which students complete a project related to assigned concepts.
